Works excellent in making a cup that even has a little bending upwards become warm. Though it would still take a long while to happen (hour and a half at the minimum), I'd recommend it more as keeping the cup warm, then using it to make the cup warm (because it takes such a long time for that to happen). The little plate gets hot quickly, and is about 8.3 cm of space that the bottom of a cup can be placed on it. The color is great, and it is easy to adjust the temperature of the device. Aside from that, as I come from Europe and received the EU plug, I would recommend investing in a straight plug switcher, the switcher you get is perfect for wall sockets, but not for a socket with more depth one needs to get passed as it won't fit then. Still a great product aside from that minor point and I would recommend getting it!

Not worth the money. Even though it said 75°C but in reality it can't keep small sealed glass teapot hot even for an hour. Doesn't have auto sensing or configurable timer. Switches off in ~8 hours without any warning. Useless.
